How long does shipping take?

Most of what we sell is built-to-order by independent makers, then handed off to a regional carrier. That means a kit typically lands in your hands roughly 7–14 days after you order, sometimes a little faster, sometimes a little slower. We publish the window we actually see on the product page rather than chasing a number that looks good in an ad.

How do you pick suppliers?

Every maker we work with has to clear the same three filters: supplier reliability, shipping speed, and build quality. We sample an order, time how it travels, inspect what arrives, and either keep going with the maker or quietly move on. Anything that fails two filters in a row is cut — we would rather have a short catalog we trust than a long one we do not.

What if something's wrong with it?

Tell us. Email us within roughly 30 days of delivery with a photo and the order number, and we will sort it out — replacement, exchange, or refund, depending on the piece. We do not run a returns desk in the sense of a giant policy document. The principle is: if the kit we sent is not the kit we described, it is on us.

How do you vet build quality?

Before a product goes on the site, we order it ourselves, carry it, use it, and check the seams, zippers, finishing, and tolerances against the spec the maker publishes. If a piece does not hold up to that hands-on check it does not list — full stop. Quality lives in the sample on our desk, not in the maker’s catalog copy.

How does sizing run?

International sizing varies more than most catalogs admit, so every product page on Roamhaus carries a per-piece sizing note with the dimensions and tolerances you should check against what you already own. Measure twice; the chart is there for the match. If a piece still does not fit on arrival, the same "tell us" principle above applies — we will make it right within roughly 30 days.
